Work

Selected experience

Corbi is new. The work below is employed roles, not consultancy clients. I do the work. A specialist only when a job needs a skill I do not sell as a product.

Marketing Association of Australia — member platforms and HubSpot operations

Role. CRM and Digital Manager, Sydney, 2020–present. Peak marketing industry body in Australia.

Problem. Membership, content, and CRM lived in separate habits. Publishing was slow. Records and member-facing pages did not stay in sync.

Work. HubSpot automations, sequences, and lifecycle workflows for renewals, re-engagement, and events. Data hygiene, sync, and reporting, including low-engagement scorecards and retention views. End-to-end redevelopment of the member portal (MemberPress, 2024): dashboard, filtered navigation, favourites, styles, WordPress content and front-end fixes. CRM campaigns (email, SMS, sequences) and event polling, with segmentation and performance analysis. In-house assets when that was faster than an agency.

What transfers. This is the layer Corbi sells: CRM architecture, content systems tied to the record, and operations a small team can actually run. Marketing Association of Australia is the employer, not a Corbi client.

Tabcorp — loyalty and lifecycle campaigns

Role. Loyalty Executive, Wagering and Media, Sydney, 2017–2020.

Problem. A large loyalty base that only pays if campaigns are segmented and the programme is operated, not decorated.

Work. Day-to-day of a 500,000+ member loyalty programme. Omni-channel campaigns, automation, and reporting.

On the record. 6% membership growth. Campaign ROI uplifts in the 5–27% range. Email at 45% open and 20% click-through on the work I ran, via segmentation and automation — not a spray list.

Earlier CRM and account work

Roles. Account Director, Traction Digital. CRM Executive, News. Before that: European digital project work and a short-lived production practice of my own in 2016–17.

Work. Briefs, campaign and CRM operations, multilingual sites and launches, keeping the record and the message aligned. Fifteen years of that layer, including Adobe Campaign as well as HubSpot.

What it is not. It is not a logo wall of Corbi clients. Named consultancy case studies go here only with written permission after the first engagements close.

Forever French — Eastside Radio 89.7FM

Voluntary. Co-presenter with Olivier Vojetta and Marty Huck; the programme was founded by Gabrielle Haumesser. Wednesday nights, music from the French-speaking world. My episodes lean into the eclectic side: jazz, fusion, 70s and 80s group work, chanson.

Programme: eastsidefm.org/foreverfrench. Jean-Luc Ponty episode, 19 August 2026: listen.

“There are many times when Eastside goes where no other radio station would go — and this includes Forever French (19/08/26). I can’t express how much I appreciated 90 minutes of Jean-Luc Ponty and the informed passion. What a show!! Merci Forever French & Thankyou Eastside.” — William, listener.
